Green smoothies are nutrient dense drinks made with fresh, leafy green vegetables and fruit. They are a nutritional upgrade from your usual fruit smoothie because of the addition of superfoods like kale and spinach.

    A nice change from “just spinach”. The Kale was a nice addition, and I also add flaxseed oil. Another recipe that is one of my favorites is: Carrot, orange, granny smith apple, and ginger. Refreshing!
