I made these a few weeks ago, and they came out quite well, but a little dry - I only used about half the liquid as I was going by the description you gave of the dough texture. But they were still delicious. I made them with a pretty standard pork filling.

I'm going to make them again tomorrow with a pumpkin curry filling. I will try with a bit more liquid this time!

Delicious! I used ground flax as the flour, since I wanted to make cookies that were mostly flax. I cooked them for 12 minutes and balled them up well. And no nuts. Yum! So hard to find a wheat and nut free recipe. Most gluten free recipes want you to use nut meal. All the other recipes I have tried made cookies that were tasteless or didn't look like cookies. Even my husband liked then and had no clue how healthy they were. Thanks for posting, I will make these again!

Glad you like them Courtney! I rolled out white fondant, then used a heart shaped cookie cutter to make the hearts. I had a special stamp ordered with my friends' monogram on it, then stamped each heart carefully. I dusted them with edible shimmer (helps the monogram show up a bit more) and then let them harden a bit overnight before icing the cupcakes and placing the hearts onto them. Really simple! I found everything I needed online, but I'm sure a craft store would have everything you needed.
