Citrus Mint Tisane
A tisane is simply an herbal tea that contains fruits or other natural flavors. I love the flavor of mint in this refreshing drink.
4 cups cold water
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
1/2 lemon, sliced
1/2 lime, sliced
1 cup orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
3 tablespoons honey
1. Place all of the ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a slight boil. Stir to dissolve the honey.
2. Remove from heat, and let steep for 2 minutes. Discard the mint leaves to prevent bitterness, then divide into four mugs and serve immediately.
